Busing permission forms for our Promotion/Graduation Ceremony on Friday, June 15 have been sent home. Please sign and return the form.

A note from Parent Guild – We will be hosting a ‘Year-End Play Date’ on Wednesday June 13 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The cost of the amazing play day is $20 and includes a barbecue, bouncy castles, face painting, Henna art, photo booth, obstacle course, games, and prizes. All of the proceeds raised will go towards ongoing fundraising efforts. All order forms are due Friday, June 1. What a great way to end an fantastic school year!

St. Jude’s FC A new and exciting soccer program has arrived at SJA. St. Jude’s FC is the official soccer academy affiliated with SJA, which is currently taking applicants for its inaugural season. St. Jude's FC will be playing against the best REP teams around the area. Do not miss the opportunity to sign your child up to not only play against the best, but be coached by the best as well.  Please see flyer sent home for further information. If you are interested in joining, please fill out the flyer and send into Ms. Dawn. Let’s go St. Jude’s FC!!

As we count down the final days of the school year, there are a few more announcements to make. Next Tuesday will be the last day to wear school uniforms, as Wednesday will be our House Colour Spirit Day, where we will play one final house game and see which house is awarded The House Cup! Wednesday is also the Year-End Play Day. Thursday we are asking students to come dressed up in their soccer jersey or wear a t-shirt that represents a country, as the World Cup of Soccer is beginning. Friday is our Promotion/Graduation ceremony. We are asking that students wear something nice, as they will be receiving their certificates.

Congratulations to all of the participants who took part in the Inner-School Track and Field Competition today at The Maples.

Calendar- the special helpers put up the date, counts down to 100 days of school, and tells us what the weather is like today.
Agenda Trip tomorrow, bring a backpack with a disposable lunch, sunscreen and a water bottle, be at the school for 8:15am as the bus will be leaving around 8:25am
UOI with language focus- Students completed the last page of their report card. They wrote about what they learned, what they need to improve on and what their favourite thing was this term.
Students also wrote a short summary for our novel study.

Math- Today students were introduced to fractions. They learned the terms whole, halves, thirds and fourths. Students coloured in areas of a given fraction.

Unit of Inquiry- Today we finished our last few summative presentations.
