Agenda- Read 15 minutes, spelling sentences due Friday, spelling test Friday, practice for spelling bee, practice song and actions for Arts' Night
with language focus- Today students brainstormed about whether they should have more recess time throughout the school day. Students wrote me a letter with their opinion and 3 reason they thought we should or should not have more recess.
Math- Students reviewed different 2D shapes, the number of sides and the number of corners. They also completed a sheet where they picked two shapes and had to explain how they are similar and different.
of Inquiry- Students got into their table groups and researched about a given animal. They had to write down where it lives, what it eats, how it survives and other facts about their animal. All groups did an excellent job presenting their findings.
